Of all your haiku, this is one of my favorites. I am an amateur astronomer and have studied astronomy for over fifty years. Watching comets has afforded me untold hours of pleasure under the velvet dome of night. We can talk more in email about Comet Ison which will be a magnificent comet in the latter part of 2013, but you may enjoy reading about it now. One good site is:
